OK, so this is another gripe, but, Im putting you in touch with yet another fantastic supplier.
About eight months ago, I bought a Honda CB600F Hornet. GREAT BIKE!!! I also decided that I would purchase a Givi top box for it, so where else but eBay to locate said item. I managed to get one (E36) from a seller in Adelaide, but it had the incorrect mounting brackets. How difficult would it be to get a set of Givi brackets for a 2001 Honda CB600F Hornet?
Well, it turns out its actually more difficult than I thought. Doing the right thing, I contacted the local dealerships and enquired on the availability of these brackets. I was told that it the order would have to come from Europe (Givi is Italian) and that it would take about 8 weeks to be delivered. 8 WEEKS, ARE YOU KIDDING? Not only that, because it was a "special" order, I would have to pay for the shipping. $279 for the brackets and about $120 shipping.
Back onto the net and found Motorcycle 1, located in Morpeth, Northumberland. They were out of stock, but expecting new stock the following day (Thursday). I let it ride and contacted them on the Friday, sure enough, the stock had arrived, they could ship, and if I paid immediately (PayPal) they would ship that same day. Cost £64, shipping however was £68. Because I wanted (read needed) the brackets, I decided to go with it. Four days later, UPS arrived at my door with the goods. WOW!!! IMPRESSIVE!!!
In the meantime, I found yet another larger Givi topbox in Melbourne and managed to get that for $60 including shipping, so now I had two Givi topboxes. Great.
On New Years Eve, I purchased a second-hand Honda CBF250 (thats a different story), so I decided that I would use the smaller E36 topbox on the 250 and the larger 46 on the 600, so started looking for brackets for the 250. Once again the same story. Not in stock, blah, blah, blah......, so I contacted Thor at and sure, they had them in stock and could ship same day. I also purchased another M5M plate and had that shipped at the same time. Same deal, goods arrived 4 days later.
How can you possibly compete with or complain about service such as that?

Unfrotunately though, it seems that this organisation has subsequently closed down, how unfortunate.
