These terms and conditions are voluntarily set between the Learner, hereafter referred to as The Learner and BikeSAFE Motorcycle Training and/or the instructors, hereafter referred to as BikeSAFE.
The Learner acknowledges that riding a motorcycle is a potentially dangerous activity and could lead to injury, damage or loss (to person and or property) including from incidents caused by The Learner, by another person or by the nature of riding. The Learner participates in training entirely at their own risk. This does not affect their Statutory Rights.
BikeSAFE accredited instructors are committed to safety and instruction and take no responsibility for negligent or reckless behavior. The Learner agrees as a participant in the instruction that they will not hold BikeSAFE liable for any damage or injury incurred during the tuition.
The Learner acknowledges and confirms that they are fit to ride a motorcycle and participate in training, and that there are no medical or physical impediments that prevent them from doing so.
The Learner will agree to pay BikeSAFE a sum not in excess of AU$1000 (One Thousand Australian Dollars) for damage or loss incurred to the BiekSAFE’s assets whilst under the instruction of BikeSAFE.
The learner will agree to pay BikeSAFE a sum of $100 for damage incurred in the event of the motorcycle being used due to the motorcycle being used is dropped and damaged (handlebar and levers.
The Learner agrees that in the event of an incident resulting in damage to third party property, that The Learner will be responsible for restitution to the owner of said damaged property.
During the instruction the learner will be responsible for the safe operation of the motorcycle and will not ride a motorcycle in any manner that contravenes any law. The learner agrees to follow the instructions of the Instructor as closely as possible during the course of the lesson.
BikeSAFE WILL NOT refund any or part of the tuition, unless mutually agreed upon by both BikeSAFE and The Learner. BikeSAFE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the lessons or assessments, and will endeavour to notify the learner electronically or by phone. Be advised that assessments will take priority over lessons and and in the event of an assessment conflicting with a scheduled lesson, the lesson may be moved to a different date or time.
BikeSAFE will make NO guarantee that The Learner will pass any Department of Transport assessment as a result of taking this instruction.
Non-compliant motorcycles or riders will not be permitted to participate in instruction and all fees will be forfeited.
BikeSAFE instructors are Certificate IV Qualified and accredited by the Western Australian Department of Transport to conduct this training.
Minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellation, otherwise the full lesson fee may be charged.
Payments may be made in Cash, Bank Transfer or Credit Card. Be advised that a 2% surcharge will be added to the transaction for credit card payments.
By reading these conditions and continuing to participate in motorcycle riding tuition, The Learner accepts these terms and conditions.
